How to Change the Color of Your Post Titles on Blogspot While Using a Blogger Template

Customize the design of a Blogger template by changing the post title color.

Changing the color of your blog’s post tile font can help the title to stand out on the page. The BlogSpot -- now called Blogger -- blog service lets you customize the appearance of the design elements in most standard Blogger templates, including the font color of blog post titles. To change your blog’s post title color, use the Blogger Template Designer feature.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Blogger account to open the Dashboard landing page that contains a full list of your blogs.

2. Click the blue “Design” tab under the title of the blog that you want to customize with a new post title color.

3. Click the “Template Designer” button in the Design submenu across the top of the page. Blogger displays the Template Designer pane in the top section of the page above a preview of your blog.

4. Click the “Advanced” link at the bottom of the menu on the left.

5. Scroll to “Post Title Color” or “Post Title” in the left-hand context menu pane. The title of this setting depends on your installed Blogger template.

6. Click the color-picker tool. Click on the color palette to select your preferred post title color. Alternatively, select a color from the Colors From This Template or Suggested Colors sections under the color-picker tool.

7. Click the orange “Apply to Blog” button in the top right corner of the Template Designer pane. Blogger applies the new color to all post titles on your blog.

Tips & Warnings

• Selecting a text color from the Colors From This Template or Suggested Colors section guarantees that the post title color complements the color scheme used for the rest of the template.
