How to Delete a Facebook App From a Sony Xperia

You can reinstall the Facebook app at any time.

If you want to get rid of the Facebook app on your Sony Xperia mobile phone, you can do so with a few taps. Deleting the app from your phone does not close or deactivate your Facebook account; the action merely removes it from your phone. You do not need a data connection to remove the app. After you delete the app, you can still access your Facebook account using your phone's browser.

Instructions

1. Tap “Start” on your Sony Xperia and then tap “Settings.”

2. Tap the “System” tab. Tap “Remove Programs.” The programs and applications stored on your phone will be displayed.

3. Tap “Facebook” and then tap “Remove.”

4. Tap “Yes” to confirm that you want to delete the Facebook app from your Sony Xperia. Tap “OK” when confirmation of its removal is displayed.
