How to Figure Out a Modem's IP
A modem is an integral part of a computer network. It enables your computer to access the Internet though your Internet service provider's connection. All devices that are connected to your network have a unique IP address, which identifies them on the network. A typical IP address consists of four numbers, each separated by a period. If you want to find the IP address of your modem, use the Network and Sharing Center utility in Windows.
