How to Give a Facial Massage With a Natural Ingredient Scrub
Facial scrubs are effective for removing dry or damaged cells from the surface of the skin, and penetrating the pores to rejuvenate the skin's glow and elasticity. Scrubs have a gritty texture, which gives the scrubs their exfoliant qualities. While many facial scrubs can be purchased from spas and beauty stores, you also have the option to make your own using all natural ingredients. Before you concoct your facial scrub to massage into the skin, make sure you don't have any allergies to the ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Add the Castile soap, tea tree oil and wheat germ into a blender or food processor. Cut open an avocado and scoop half of the avocado into the blender. Turn the blender on to combine the ingredients.
-
2
Pour the contents of the blender into a bowl and add the honey. Mix the facial scrub in the bowl with your fingers. The honey adds a binding element and makes the texture slightly sticky, which adheres better to the skin.

Wet the face just before you are ready to start the facial massage. Use your fingers to scoop approximately 1 tablespoon worth of the mixture into your hands. Apply the scrub to the face and smear it out smoothly over the skin. Grab more of the scrub and continue covering the skin of the face, leaving a circle around the eyes.
-
4
Rub the scrub into the skin using circular motions. This not only ensures the scrub seeps into the pores, but the circular motion helps to stimulate the skin to revive circulation.
-
5
Wet a washcloth. Remove the face scrub with a washcloth, doing a small portion of the face at a time. Rinse the washcloth before reapplying it to the skin.
-
6
Wash your face with cool water when all of the scrub has been removed. This final rinse removes any leftover residue. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel. Do not rub your face on the towel or you can aggravate the skin.
