How to Disconnect the Strap From a Timex Watch
Timex, a company that specializes in timepieces and jewelry, was founded in 1854 as a clock-making subsidiary of Benedict & Burnham in Waterbury, Connecticut. Now it is one of the world's most successful watch companies, selling watches to over 100 different countries. If you've purchased a Timex watch or received one as a gift but are unimpressed with the band or strap, you can choose from a plethora of compatible wristbands in most watch or jewelry stores to replace it with. Place the watch on a soft surface to avoid scratching the face.

Turn the watch on its left side and push the pointed tool through the opening connecting the watch to the strap on the right side of the watch. Continue pushing until the pin loosens and slides out. Repeat for the right side of the watch.

Pull away the strap from the watch. Reattach the pins into the holes of the watch and new strap to attach a new strap.
