How to Fix a Deployment Clasp on a Cartier Watch
Louis-Francois Cartier founded Cartier in Paris in 1847. The name Cartier has become synonymous with luxury jewelry products. Cartier produces Swiss-made watches that sell for thousands of dollars. Its metal watchbands feature a gold or steel bracelet with a hidden deployment clasp. Cartier is credited with creating the folding clasp in 1910, a design that has been emulated worldwide by other watchmakers. If the clasp fails to deploy properly, it can be fixed at any Cartier boutique or authorized dealer. Cartier does not recommend that a watch owner or an unauthorized jeweler try to make any repair on a Cartier watch. Does this Spark an idea?
