How to Do VSI Fax Tags for a Portrait or a Landscape
Esker VSI-FAX is fax software for Windows and Linux computers. When a user or company needs to process large numbers of faxes on a daily basis, the software can help manage the load. It does so using commands which automate the fax process, letting the user type in a series of commands to do everything. Tags control how the fax is processed. You can use tags to send a fax as portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal).

Open the VSI-Fax command line.

Enter the following: vfxadmin user -t lnd=”XXX” <user_ID>

Change “XXX” to “true” if you want to send the fax as landscape. Change it to “false” to send as portrait. Leave the quotation marks in place.

Replace “user_ID” with your VSI ID. Leave the triangle brackets in place.

Press "Enter." This sets your fax settings to either landscape or portrait. You can change the tag again at any point.
