How to Export a Voice Recording From Audacity Into an iPhoto Slideshow
IPhoto users can create slideshows from images in their photo libraries. If you have a selection of photos from which you want to create a slideshow, you might like to record a commentary track in another program such as Audacity and add it to the presentation. However, iPhoto cannot read project files from Audacity. Export the Audacity project as a WAV or MP3 file and add it to your iTunes library to use it in an iPhoto slideshow.

Launch iTunes. Drag the audio file that you exported from Audacity to the "Library" section in the upper left corner of the iTunes window. This adds the file to your iTunes library. Close iTunes when this process is complete.
