Open your Internet browser and type "192.168.1.254/mdc" in the address bar to load your 2Wire modem's management interface.

Click on "Configure" under "Broadband" in the left-hand column. Type "8" in the VPI field and "35" in the VCI one. Click on "Disabled" next to "ATM PVC Search." Select "Direct IP" from the "Connection type" drop-down menu. Click on "Submit."

Select "Configure services" under "Advanced settings." Deselect "Enable routing" and click on the "Submit" button.
