Vividwireless usually offers a reliable connection, but the connection drops out or fails if your modem or router cannot find a signal. Vivdwireless offers a USB modem booster, a device that connects to your modem to strengthen a weak signal. Repositioning your equipment and using a wireless repeater or high-gain antenna are other ways to boost your vividwireless signal.

• Wireless repeater

Instructions

1. Connect the vividwireless modem booster to your USB modem, and then use a USB cable to connect the booster to the computer. The booster makes the modem more sensitive and improves the signal.

2. Download the latest updates for your vividwireless equipment. Firmware updates enhance your router's connectivity and boost the wireless signal.

3. Reposition the vividwireless equipment. Put the router in the center of room and place it on a table or cabinet. Putting the router on the floor or in the corner of a room results in a poor signal.

4. Move the equipment away from other wireless objects, such as cordless phones or baby monitors. These objects interfere with wireless signals.
