How to Delete Polyline Vertices
The AutoCAD 2D and 3D design drafting software allows you to create objects of one or more lines called a polyline. Each line, arc or straight, that makes up the object is called a segment and is connected by vertices. To edit and change your polyline objects, delete the vertices of the segments you want to remove. After the vertices have been deleted, the segments are also removed.

Launch AutoCAD and open the desired document with the polyline vertices.

Click the “Home,” “Modify Panel” and “Edit Polyline.”

Select the polyline.

Enter “e.” The vertex is marked with an “X” for deletion.

Press “Enter” to delete the polyline vertex.
