How to Boot From AIM Chat
The AOL Instant Messenger application lets you chat with multiple friends at the same time in Buddy Chats. If you created the AIM Buddy Chat you are participating in, you have the ability to add and remove users from the chat room at will. This means that if you want to boot someone from your AIM Chat, you can do so directly within the chat window, and there is nothing the other user can do to prevent it.

Open the Aim Buddy Chat window and locate the list of chat participants. The list of chat participants is located on the right side of the chat window.

Click on the AIM user that you want to boot from the chat room to highlight their name.

Right-click on the highlighted AIM user and select the "Remove from Chat" option to boot the user from the AIM chat room.
