How to Create a Google Map Without an API Key
Requesting an API key for Google Maps lets you create fully customizable maps on your website. Even if you don't have an API key, however, you can still create a map for your site. Thanks to Google's embeddable HTML feature, you can also embed the map on your Web page.

Visit the Google Maps website. Type the address of the location you want to map, or click on "Get Directions" if you want to create a route. Type the starting and ending point to view the route.

Click on the "Link" icon in the upper-right corner of the map.

Click on "Customize and Preview Embedded Map."

Choose the size (small, medium, large, etc.) or set custom dimensions for the map.

Highlight and copy the HTML code to embed the map, then embed it in the applicable section of your website.
