How to Get the Audio From Pinnacle Dazzle DVC-107
The Pinnacle Dazzle DVC-107 is a USB video capture device that allows you to capture audio and video from an external source. Use the Dazzle to record music from a DVD player, VCR or video game console. Once you have captured the audio and video files, you can edit them in the included Movie Star software.

Plug the RCA audio cables from your audio source into the female RCA connections on the front of the Dazzle. The connections and cables are color-coded. Match the connector to the input color.

Plug the video cable into the video input port. Insert composite connectors in the yellow connection, while S-video goes in the black connection.

Plug the USB cable leading from the Dazzle into a USB port on your PC. Connect the AC adapter to the power port on the back of the Dazzle and plug the other end into an outlet.

Open the Dazzle MovieStar software from the Windows "Start" menu. Choose the type of project you want to create and click "OK."

Click the "Capture" button and type a name for the file. Choose the location where you want to save the file and select "DVC-107" as the input device.

Choose the video input connection and set the audio source to the point where you want to start recording.

Click the "Record" button in the software and start the audio on the source device.

Click "Stop" when you are finished recording.

Tips & Warnings
The DVC-100 series has a second set of female connections on the back. These are for video and audio output to a television or monitor. If you connect your source to these connections, it will not work.
