How to Feed My Maps RSS Into Drupal

Drupal allows you to add various modules and components to your website to enhance your pages. One enhancement you can add is a map RSS feed. A map feed automatically syndicates and publishes your map directions from another site, such as Google Maps, into your Drupal site.

Instructions

    • 1

Copy the RSS Feed URL for your map.

    • 2

Log in to the Administrator page for your Drupal RSS Feeds. For example, the URL for such a page is "http://www.yourdomainname.com/admin/content/rss-publishing." Replace "yourdomainname" with the domain name of your Drupal site.

    • 3

Select the “By Task” tab. Click the “Modules” link, located under the Site Building section.

    • 4

Select the box located next “Aggregator” to enable the RSS Feed module. Click “Administrations By Module.”

    • 5

Click “Configure Permissions," located underneath the Aggregator section.

    • 6

Select the option to allow “Anonymous User” or “Authenticated User” to your access your RSS feed. Click “Save Permissions.” Click the “Feed Aggregator” link, located in the left side panel.

    • 7

Click the “Add Feed” tab, located near the top of the page. Complete the RSS Feed form fields. Enter the website address link for your map's feed in the URL field. Click “Save” to save your settings.

    • 8

Select “Administer” in the left column. Click “Site Building.”

    • 9

      Click “Blocks" underneath “Site Building.”
