How to Boost the Projection for a Toshiba TDP-T90A

The size of the image on a Toshiba TDP-T90A is a function of the distance and height between the lens and the screen. The further away the projector is from the screen, the larger the image will appear. The size of the image is measured diagonally. The TDP-T90A has a minimum screen size of 24.6 inches and a maximum size of 246 inches.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine the minimum and maximum distance from the screen by multiplying the desired screen size by 4.064 for minimum and 4.878 for maximum. The result is the distance in meters. For example, if you need a screen size of 100 inches, the projector can be no less than 4 meters and no more than 4.88 meters from the screen.

    • 2

Place the projector in a location within the minimum and maximum range.

    • 3

Adjust the zoom lever over the lens until the image fills the screen.

    • 4

Rotate the ring around the lens to adjust the focus.

Tips & Warnings

  • For the best image, the lens should be level with the bottom of the projected image. If you cannot place the camera in this position, the image will be wider at the top. Adjust for this distortion in the setup menu. Press "Set Up" and press the enter button to adjust the setting automatically. To adjust it manually, select "Keystone" from the Set Up menu and use the arrow buttons to adjust the image.
