How to Get My Python Fob to Vibrate
The notification and alert systems for certain Python vehicle remote control fobs, and security and remote control fobs, provide vibrate alert options in addition to tone alert options. Common command buttons include "Lock," "Unlock," "Auxiliary," "Remote Access" and "Function." For example, on the Python 533, press the “Function” and “Lock” buttons at the same time to switch to the Vibrate mode.

Press and roll a menu wheel to access the command functions on the fob display and change the settings. For example, on the Python 592, press in on the wheel for at least three seconds to bring up the main menu and then press it again to select the Settings screen. For example, on the Python 991, press and hold “Function” at least eight seconds to bring up the main menu, press “Function” again to select and show the Remote Options menu. Select “Page Alert,” press the "Remote Start" or "Auxiliary" button to highlight “Vibe” and then press “Function” to select it. Press the “Lock” button to save your selection.

To confirm you have the Vibrate Mode turned on, check the display for a wavy lines icon with or without a small Python remote image.
If you still can’t get your Python fob to vibrate, visit your local Python dealer for assistance. To locate a dealer, go to the Python Find a Store page, enter your ZIP code in the Enter ZIP/Postal field and then click the “Submit” button.
Always unlock the keypad if applicable before attempting to turn on Vibrate Mode on your Python fob. For example, on the 991, you would press the “Function” button and then the “Unlock” button.
