How to Disable Drupal Form API
Drupal's content construction feature lets you edit and manage content types, also called node types, by using the field and form API. This feature lets you add additional fields or forms to a node type, to create custom content templates. If you do not want users to be able to use the field or form API, you can edit their permissions to remove the feature.

Sign in to your Drupal dashboard. Click on "People." Then click on the "Permissions" menu tab.

Scroll down to the "Node" section. Locate the "Administer Content Types" section.

Deselect the box next to the user type you want to disable the form API for. For example, if you don't want administrators to be able to edit content types, remove the check from the "Administrator" box.

Click on "Save."
