How to Configure a Station on an Air Block

Drupal's customer management software (CMS) enables organizations to create website and modules for enhancing the business experience with their patrons. But thanks to Drupal's station modules and plug-ins, the application also can be used to manage online radio station streams and the blocks of time the stations are scheduled to be on air. If you're new to Drupal's radio station tools and want to learn to schedule stations to blocks of air time, there are some basic principles of Drupal station configuration that you should take some time to learn.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch Drupal's Station Archive Module. If you haven't already set up Drupal's station and views modules, you'll need to install them before you can configure your station's time block (see Resources).

    • 2

Set your station's minimum air block. Click on the "Admin" heading. Highlight the "Site Configuration" option in the context menu that appears beneath the heading. Highlight the "Station" heading, and then click on the "Schedule" option. Select the desired block of time from the menu box in the Schedule menu, and then click "Save."

    • 3

Return to the "Admin" heading. Highlight the "Content Management" option this time in the Admin heading's context menu, and then click on the "Schedule" heading.

    • 4

Click inside of one of your station's empty air blocks to schedule a program -- fill as many air blocks as you'd like. Type the program's name into the slot, and then click on the "Save" button to store your changes.
