How to Fix IWEB in DNN 5.4.2
If you upgrade DotNetNuke to build 5.4.2, you might have noticed your iWeb installation has broken. This is not a problem unique to you. 5.4.2 introduces a bug that breaks the “ExecuteSQL” of certain SQL-based programs, including iWeb. The company introduces a fix a month after releasing 5.4.2 with 5.4.4 (there is no 5.4.3). Upgrading to this build will solve the iWeb problem without affecting anything else. The “ExecuteSQL” change is the only difference between 5.4.2 and 5.4.4.

Log in to your DNN account.

Download the DNN 5.4.2 Upgrade package (link in Resources). Be sure to download the upgrade, not the “New Install.”

Unzip the download when it completes. This will open a folder of 5.4.4 DNN files.

Log into your server and open the folder containing the 5.4.2 DNN files.

Delete all the files from your folder and replace them with the 5.4.4 files in the ZIP file.
