How to Get CP Pin Trackers on Your Blog

Club Penguin (CP) is a Disney-owned online computer game and membership website. Disney releases hidden pins as part of the game. Incorporating a CP pin tracker into your blog can attract more visitors and page views from players looking for Club Penguin cheats. Once you place the pin tracker on your blog, players will have a reason to come back on a regular basis to check for new hidden pins in the Club Penguin game.

Instructions

WordPress

1. Locate and select a Club Penguin tracker code. Examples of sites with a code for a pin tracker include club-penguin-secrets.com, clubpenguincp.com and clubpenguininsiders.com. Copy the code to your computer's clipboard. When you place one of these widget codes on your blog, the message in the widget automatically updates with the new pin and location. Club Penguin releases a new pin once every two weeks.

2. Access your WordPress administration panel. Click the "Widget" area in the Appearance menu. Click the "Text" widget. This type of widget allows you to post either plain text or HTML.

3. Type a title in the widget title box. Paste the CP pin tracker code into the text box. Save your new widget. Drag and drop it into the desired area of your blog using the visual layout on the right side of the page. For example, you could put your Club Penguin pin tracker in the sidebar or footer of your WordPress blog.

Blogger

TypePad

2. Access your TypePad account. Select "Content" in the Design section.

3. Open the "Embed Your Own HTML Module" option. Select "Add this module."

4. Enter your CP pin-tracker code into the box. Save the module. It will now appear in your blog sidebar.

Tips & Warnings

• If you use a different service for your blog, the same basic process applies as long as that blog service allows you to customize your design with widgets. Check with that individual service to find out where to place custom HTML code.

• TypePad has numerous designs that affect the way you add HTML. The modules option works for most designs. However, if you use the TweetPad or Chroma Theme, use the "Custom Sidebar" option to add the CP pin tracker. If using Advanced Templates, add the code directly into your template.

• The TypePad TypeList option exists for pro accounts only. If your blog has this feature enabled, select it in the Library menu. Click "Add a TypeList" and make a Notes TypeList. You can then add the tracker code to your TypePad blog.
