How to Delete Gray Bars in YouTube

The gray playlist bar that appears below YouTube videos is a source of annoyance for some users. This bar automatically pops up whenever you click on a video that is included in a playlist or marked as one of your favorites. Currently, there is no way within your YouTube settings to turn off the playlist bar. However, Adblock, a third-party browser extension, can be configured to disable the playlist bar. This method can only be used by Safari, Firefox and Chrome users.

After you have installed Adblock, you need to restart your browser. If you are using Safari or Firefox, an Adblock button will beside the browser's address bar. Chrome users can access this extension through the "Extensions" submenu within the main "Options" menu.
