You can figure out your profit margin with the animation on RCT3.

Roller Coaster Tycoon has been a popular computer game since the late 1990s. Manufacturers update their games regularly and RCT 3 allows game players to "build" their own amusement park and turn a virtual profit with the business. The animation graphics give you an opportunity to see every aspect of your amusement park and watch all the people at the park get on the amusements, walk across the park, and pay for food and souvenirs.

Instructions

Use a program such as 3D Studio, Milkshape, Blender or SketchUp to create your 3D mode. SketchUp is the easiest to use, while 3D Studio has professional graphics but has a high price tag.

    • 2

Limit the number of faces you use on the program. The faces have the most detail and cause the 3D engine of RCT3 to do the most work. That will cause a lag time between your actions and seeing them on the computer screen.

Use bitmap textures for your custom scenery. The bitmap editor can re-size and manipulate all scenery. The standard size for scenery is 512 by 512. Even if you don't use that size, you must always use square numbers such as 64 by 64, 128 by 128 or 256 by 256.

Understand the concept of UV-mapping when you animate RCT-3. You must give the coordinates of your vertices letter identifications. Those coordinates are usually named "u" and "v" or "s" and "t."
