How to Get Your iPod in Verbose Boot
Verbose boot is a special startup sequence for an iPod touch device that displays the code used by the device during the boot sequence. This type of boot is only possible on a jailbroken iPod touch device that has installed the free Verbose Boot application from the Cydia store. Jailbreaking your device will void the terms of Apple's device warranty.

Tap the "Cydia" icon on your jailbroken iPod touch.

Tap the "Search" button.

Enter "Verbose Boot" in the Cydia search bar and select the "Verbose Boot" application.

Tap the "Install" button.

Tap the "Confirm" button.

Press the Home button on your iPod touch.

Press and hold the Power button located at the top of your iPod touch.

Slide your finger across your device's display as instructed to power down your device.

Press the Power button to reboot your device. Your iPod touch will automatically boot in verbose mode.
