How to Archive Scrapbooks of Friends in Orkut
The scrapbook feature on the Orkut social networking site lets Orkut users communicate with their friends by leaving them "scraps." These scraps can be viewed by anyone, so if any scraps contain sensitive information, you may want to remove them from your scrapbook. Instead of deleting these scraps forever, you can archive them in your spam folder. This spam folder never empties, meaning any scrap you archive there will be hidden -- but remains accessible should you ever need it.

Open a Web browser and navigate to Orkut.com. Enter your Orkut account login credentials in the spaces provided and log into your Orkut account.

Click the "Scraps" button at the top of your Orkut home page to view your scrapbook.

Click the "Report Spam" button next to the scrap that you want to archive. The scrap will now be moved to your Orkut spam folder.

Click the "Spam Folder" link beneath the "Actions" heading to view your archived scraps. These scraps will never be deleted, but will stay hidden from other Orkut users until you remove them from the spam folder.

Tips & Warnings
To delete all of the real spam in your spam folder, open the spam folder, place a check mark next to the scraps that you want to delete and click the "Delete Forever" button. This will leave only your archived scraps in the folder.
