Users of Excel 2004 on Mac systems can easily script and edit macros using Visual Basic for Applications -- or VBA -- within Microsoft Office. While later versions of Excel use Applescript to replace the functions of VBA, the 2004 version allows users to easily create, edit and debug macros in Excel. VBA is a valuable tool for getting the most out of this program. Debugging the macro, to ensure it runs properly, is a somewhat simple process thanks to VBA.
