How to Convert My Maps in Google to Drupal

The Google Maps interface includes a wizard, so you can convert a map to a Drupal post. The wizard creates a map and a link that you use to display the map in your Drupal posts. Use this feature to create a map to your location in a Drupal content site's "Contact Us" page.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a Web browser and go to the Google Maps link creator wizard. Type an address for your location and click the type of map you want to show in the image.

    • 2

Click the "Link" icon in the wizard to open a pop-up window that displays the link you must use in your Drupal content editor. Copy the link from the window.

    • 3

Open another browser tab and log in to your Drupal dashboard editor. Click "Create Content" to open a content editor for a new post.

    • 4

Click the "HTML" icon to switch to the HTML editor view. Paste the Google Maps link into the editor and click "OK."

    • 5

Click "Submit" to save the changes and post the map to your Drupal site. Open another browser tab to view the changes in the browser.
