How to Change the Converter on a Fiesta Machine
The "Pump It Up Fiesta EX" is a dancing arcade game similar to the popular "Dance Dance Revolution." It monitors a user’s foot patters and matches them to the on-screen prompts. It runs a special converter wire in the back to connect the power source to the machine. Changing the converter it simple, since it just plugs right into two sources. The trick is finding the converter in the first place.

1
Unplug the power cord from the back of the game and from the wall outlet.
-
2
Remove the lower back panel with a Phillips-head screwdriver. This will reveal a tangle of cords and wires.
-
-
3
Gently pull the coiled mass of wires out a bit. This won’t unplug anything, but it will let you find what you are looking for.
-
4
Find the converter wire. It is about 3 inches long, with a thin, wide black end and a thin, wide white end. You’ll find it somewhere near where the power cord plugs in. It should match the new converter you have.
-
5
Unplug the black end of the old converter and attach the black end of the new converter.
-
6
Unplug the white end of the old converter and attach the white end of the new converter.
-
7
Tuck the wires back in and replace the back panel.
-
8
Plug the Fiesta machine back in. It will now run through the new converter.
