How to Edit Profiles With Embed

HTML embedding is a feature that allows you integrate files, such as song, video and images, into your personal website or social networking profile. To embed items into your profile, the social networking service provider must be HTML friendly. To determine if HTML is allowed on your profile, refer to the “Help” or “Support” section of the social networking website.

Instructions

      Locate the song, picture or video file on your computer's hard drive that you want to embed into your profile. Upload the file to an online file hosting provider, such as Media Fire, File Swap or File Dropper. Depending upon the file hosting provider, you may have to sign up for a free user account before uploading files.

      Write down the file name of your uploaded file. For example, http://www.myuploadedsong.mp3, http://www.myuploadedvideo.mov or http://www.myuploadedpicture.jpeg.

      Log in to your social networking profile.

      Click “Edit Profile” to launch the profile editor.

      Enter the following HTML code to embed the song, picture video into your profile. Be sure to replace the generic file name with your real file name.
