How to Troubleshoot MDE
MDE is a file format used by Microsoft Office Access 2010 to store compiled versions of standard MDA database files. If you cannot open an MDE file, use a built-in tool in Microsoft Office Access 2010 to repair any corrupted database information, or re-associate the .MDE file extension with Microsoft Office Access 2010 if repairing the MDE file does not resolve the issue.
