How to Troubleshoot a Yahoo Stat Tracker

Keep your fantasy sports games updated with live scores in StatTracker.

Yahoo offers the StatTracker live scoring service for some online fantasy sports-based games, including Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football and Yahoo Sports Fantasy Hockey. If you experience problems with the online StatTracker service, download the latest version of the free Adobe Flash Player to correct the issue, as Yahoo recommends.

Instructions

1. Launch your Web browser. Navigate to get.adobe.com and click "Adobe Flash Player" in the Download section at the bottom right.

2. Click the yellow “Download Now” button toward the top of the page.

3. Click “Run” in the File Download confirmation dialog box. Click “Run” again in the Security Warning dialog box.

4. Click the “Yes” button in the User Account Control window. Windows installs the latest version of Flash Player on your system.

5. Log in to your Yahoo Sports online game service. Click the StatTracker menu option to view live scoring for your chosen game.

Tips & Warnings

• Adobe sometimes bundles other software products, such as the Google Toolbar or McAfee security software with the Flash Player download. If you don’t want to install these applications, ensure you click and deselect the applicable check box before clicking the “Download Now” button. In some browsers, select "Save" or "Save File" instead of "Run," and then double-click the file in the "Downloads" window to launch and run the installation. Adobe Flash Player is compatible with all versions of Windows from Windows XP and including Windows Vista and Windows 7. It’s also compatible with all widely-used Web browsers. For best results, upgrade your Web browser to the latest version.
