How to Configure Yahoo! Mail in Outlook 2007 Using a LAN Server
You can use Microsoft Outlook 2007 to automatically sync with other email accounts that you may have, including your Yahoo! Mail over a LAN server. You only need to know your Yahoo! email address, user name and password to configure your Yahoo! Account with Outlook. Once your account is configured, you can send and receive emails from your Yahoo! address using Outlook.

Click “Start,” “All Programs” and “Microsoft Outlook.”

Click “Tools” and select “Account Settings.”

Click the “Email” tab and click “New.”

Check the box next to “Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP.” Click “Next.”

Check the check box next to “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click “Next.”

Click “Internet E-mail” and click “Next.”

Type the name you want to appear in your account in the “Your Name” field.

Type your full Yahoo! Mail address in the “Email Address” field. For example, “name@yahoo.com.”

Type “pop.mail.yahoo.com” in the “Incoming Server” field.

Type “smtp.mail.yahoo.com” in the “Outgoing Server” field.

Type your user name in the “User Name” field. Your user name is the name that appears before the “@yahoo.com” portion of your email address.

Type your email password in the “Password” field.
