A digital scrapbook is a form of scrapbooking that allows you to take two dimensional photographs and store them on your computer in specific groups and sections. The pictures are often embellished with computer graphics and combined in collages with other photos to make a unique scrapbook. In recent years, numerous websites have offered free customization options for your digital images, making it easy to modify them without having a full understanding of programs like Adobe Photoshop.

Things You'll Need

• Camera
• Computer
• USB cable
• Firewire cable

Instructions

1. Plug your digital camera into your USB or firewire drive on your computer.

2. Double-click the camera icon that appears on your desktop.

3. Select the images you want to use in your digital scrapbook, dragging them onto your desktop.

4. Open up a Web browser and type in fototrix.com or any other free, mashable photo website you can find that offers a movie poster template.

5. Click the "Browse" button on the website to locate the picture you want to turn into a movie poster.

6. Select the movie poster template on the screen, to synthesize your image with the template.

7. Double-click the final image to download it to your desktop.

8. Import it into Photoshop or any other digital scrapbook software you use, to add the movie poster image to a larger digital scrapbook.
