DIY Connecting an iPad to a Stereo

Apple's iPad allows you to listen to your music collection using the Music app. The iPad's built-in speakers are too small to play music at a high level of volume. To enhance the audio, connect the device to your home stereo using a cable connection from the iPad's headphone jack to the amplifier on your stereo. The iPad can connect to any stereo that has an auxiliary or line-in jack.

Things You'll Need
