Instructions

    • 1

Apply one layer of a base coat to your nails. Wait one minute so the base coat can dry. Base coat protects your nails from staining and forms a base for nail polish to adhere to.

    • 2

Apply two coats of pink nail polish to your nails. Apply the pink polish in three strokes; one in the middle, one to the right and one to the left. Allow two minutes of drying time between each coat.

    • 3

Paint a vertical, white strip in the middle of each nail. Start the strip at the base of the nail and work your way up to the tips. Make the strip wide enough to cover one-third of the nail. Apply a second layer of white polish if you can still see the pink polish underneath. Wait two minutes between layers so the polish can dry.

    • 4

Hold the wand of your orange nail polish over a thick piece of scrap paper. Allow at least three drops of polish to drip from the wand onto the paper.

    • 5

Dip a dotter tool in the orange drops of nail polish. Use the tool to make as many dots as you like over the white strip on your nails. Use a toothpick or an orange nail art pen as an alternative. Give your nails two minutes to dry.

    • 6

Apply two layers of a clear top coat to your nails. Top coat seals your nail polish and adds a glossy shine to it. Give your nails at least 30 minutes to dry.

Tips & Warnings

  • Experiment with different designs and switch the colors around. Instead of making dots, make thin lines. Instead of orange dots, make pink or white dots. Make a pink or orange strip, instead of a white one. Paint on horizontal strips instead of vertical ones.
