Instructions

    • 1

Brush your bangs forward to separate them from the rest of your hair. Use your brush to comb a 1 inch section of hair forward to join the bangs. Secure this section of hair with a clip to keep it out of your eyes as you create the beehive hairstyle.

    • 2

Separate the remaining hair into four sections; two on either side of the head. Use your comb to tease the sections of hair, starting near the roots and moving towards the ends of the hair. Tease each section so the back of the hair is extremely voluminous.

    • 3

Gather the teased hair into a ponytail and push it upwards to create a tall beehive shape. Because the hair is teased it will be much easier to form into a tall shape. Use bobby pins to secure the ends of hair to create a domed shape. You will need a lot of pins to achieve this look.

Release the front section and comb it out smooth. Push the hair backwards so it drapes over the teased beehive shape. Secure the hair underneath the beehive with bobby pins. This non-teased hair will give the beehive a smooth, sleek look.
