How Do I Know If a Spider Came to My Site Via Analytics?
Google Analytics logs each page view from readers and search engine crawlers. Google Analytics is a free tool offered by Google. You add the code to your pages, and the Analytics system does the rest. You open the Analytics interface and look at the Search Engines section to see a list of crawler names. Google logs large search engines or smaller search engine crawlers.
