      Verify that the Nordyne furnace is connected to a working power supply and the primary furnace power switch is set to “On.” Reset or replace the fuse or circuit breaker if needed.

      Turn the thermostat fan switch to “Auto” or “Heat,” and then turn up the thermostat temperature if the furnace is connected to a working power supply but is not heating.

      Push the access door on the furnace completely closed. The furnace does not operate if the access door is open.

      Disconnect the furnace power and open the access door. Remove the air filter if the furnace continues heating poorly. Remove the coil filters and wash them with soapy water. Rinse them well and set them aside to dry. Replace the filters.

      Wipe down the furnace cabinet and the inside an exterior with a clean cloth to remove dust and lint.
