How to Make a Team Logo Bracelet

Beads come in different sizes, and are measured in millimeters.

If you want to show off your team spirit, make and wear a team logo bracelet. Wearing your team's colors on a bracelet that features the logo is an effective way to show your pride, without having to decorate clothing or paint your face. If you have a group of friends that are all cheering for the same team, make matching bracelets so you can all wear them together at the next game. Use memory wire as the core of your bracelet, so that you don't have to measure everybody's wrists and don't need closures at the ends.

Things You'll Need

• Assorted beads in your team's colors, in your preferred size
• Team logo charm
• Memory wire
• Wire snips
• Needle-nose pliers

Instructions

1. Select an assortment of beads based on the team colors. If the team's colors are yellow and black, choose beads that are solid yellow -- in the same exact shade as the team uses -- and solid black.

2. Design the pattern for the bracelet by arranging the colored beads on your work surface, lined up however you want to string them onto the memory wire. For instance, you can alternate one black, then one yellow or go with three black, then three yellow -- or whatever pattern you desire.

3. Wrap the memory wire around your wrist once, twice or as many times as desired -- creating a spiraled cuff bracelet shape. Cut the wire with wire snips when you have the desired length.

4. Grab one end of the memory wire with the needle-nose pliers. Use the force of the pliers to turn the end of the wire over, forming a loop. This tiny loop is necessary for preventing the beads from slipping off the memory wire. So make sure the loop is larger than the holes of the beads.

5. String the beads onto the un-looped end of the memory wire until your pattern is complete. Finish the bracelet by stringing on your team logo charm. Then create another loop at the end of the memory wire, to secure the beads and charm in place.

Tips & Warnings

• You can purchase team logo charms from most sports teams' official websites. If desired, you can create a team logo bracelet out of multiple charms -- attached every inch or so along a single-layer bracelet.
