How to Remove the API From Google Maps
Integrating Google Maps with your site requires an application programming interface code. This API key allows the Google Maps setup on your site to communicate with Google, giving you a way to create custom maps. Google Maps is commonly integrated into sites with extensions and plug-ins; the process of removing the API key depends on which content management system or site engine you're using. Remove the API key to disable the mapping feature or if you plan on upgrading to the latest version of the Google Maps API, which doesn't require an API key.
