How to Change an Accounting Calendar in Oracle
The Oracle database software allows administrators to create calendars for users to use with database applications. While you can make basic edits, to make major changes on an accounting calendar, you must create a new calendar on the database server. Oracle includes calendar creation tools, so you do not need to code for a calendar. The Oracle database handles the days and the months, so you have an accurate date calendar for accounting.
