How to Insert Chat on Freewebs
Freewebs, now known as Webs, lets anyone create a fully featured website for free. The Webs gallery includes a number of gadgets and applications you can add to the site, including several chat applications. Insert a chat application into a page on your website to let visitors chat with one another.

Sign into your Webs account. Click on "Control Panel."

Click on "Edit Site." Select the page you want to add the chat box to (such as the "Home" page).

Click "Add-Ons" on the toolbar, and the click "Communication."

Select the chat application you want to add. You'll find several in the Webs application gallery, including Meebly IM/Chat, Gably Chat and Fun Chatroom.

Select whether you want to allow anyone to use the chat application, or if only members can chat.

Click on "Publish" to save the changes.
