How to Embed Anime Songs on Friendster

Even though Friendster stopped allowing new users to create Friendster profiles in 2011, users that created their account prior to this change can still access and customize their profile. One way you can customize your profile is by embedding a song that plays every time the profile is visited. If you want to embed any type of song into your Friendster profile, you must first host the file on a website and then use the embed HTML code to embed the song.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a Web browser and navigate to a website that offers audio file hosting. MP3-Upload.net, SoundCloud.com and Last.fm are a few websites that offer this service.

    • 2

Upload the file onto the audio file-hosting website. This process can vary slightly depending on the website you use, so see the help section of the website for details.

    • 3

Highlight the song's URL after it has been uploaded to the audio file hosting site. Right-click on the highlighted URL and select the "Copy" option.

    • 4

Open a new Web browser window and navigate to Friendster.com. Type your account login credentials in the spaces provided and log into your Friendster account.

    • 5

Click the "Customize" tab on your Friendster profile. Type the following code in the HTML field: <EMBED src="AUDIOFILEURL" autostart=true loop=false volume=100 hidden=true><NOEMBED><BGSOUND src="AUDIOFILEURL"></NOEMBED>.

    • 6

Highlight the first "AUDIOFILEURL" text, right-click and select the "Paste" option to paste the audio file's URL into the code. Repeat for the second "AUDIOFILEURL" text.

    • 7

Save the changes to embed the song into your Friendster profile.
