How to Use Both Avira & Avast
Avira Antivirus and avast! Antivirus are applications that use real-time protection shields to scan your computer for malware. Scanning a computer with these two antivirus applications at the same time will cause system instability and performance issues. However, you can have both Avira Antivirus and avast! Antivirus installed on the same computer. Before using one of these applications to scan your computer, you must disable all real-time protection shields on the other.
