How to Take a Ten in "Evony"
"Evony" is a flash-based online multi-player game where players farm resources and attack other cities. In addition to being able to attack other player's cities in "Evony," players can attack non-player cities or NPCs. In Evony, a ten refers to a level ten NPC. To take a level ten NPC you will need to have advanced all of your research and technologies to the maximum levels. Additionally, you will need a good amount of troops in order to take a level ten NPC. Finally, it is important that you are close in distance to the NPC you are attempting to conquer as it will take less time.

- 160,000 archers
- 1,900 scouts
- 300,000 warriors
- 1,900 workers
- 1,900 transports
- 8 heroes with an attack level of at least 100
- 1 hero with an attack level of at least 150

Scout the targeted level ten NPC by clicking on the NPC and selecting "scout." Send at least one scout. Continue to scout the NPC until you find a hero that is level 20 or lower. Once you have found an NPC with a level of 20 or lower do not scout it again as this will assign a random hero to the NPC.

Attack your targeted NPC with your top level hero with the following combination of troops. 92,400 archers, 1,900 scouts, 1,900 warriors, 1,900 workers and 1,900 transports.

Attack your targeted NPC with 40,000 warriors immediately after your first attack lands. Be sure to send a hero with every attack. Immediately after this attack send 30,000 warriors and a hero and do not wait for the other attack to land. Immediately after this attack send 30,000 warriors and a hero and do not wait for the other attack to land. Send all of your remaining heroes to attack the NPC with 20,000 warriors for each attack.

Wait for your top level hero and your archers to return. Attack the NPC with 70,000 archers and 10,000 warriors and your top level hero. Attack the NPC with 40,000 warriors and a hero after the first attack has landed. Send all of your remaining heroes to attack the NPC with 20,000 warriors and a hero for each attack.

Repeat step four until you have conquered the NPC. Keep in mind that the loyalty of the NPC will go up in between attacks so you should minimize time between attacks where applicable.

Tips & Warnings
There are a variety of ways to take a level ten NPCs depending on the troops and heroes you have available. This guide just provides one method. Also, be sure to heal your troops after every attack.
Your top hero should be at least attack level 150 for your first attack on the level 10 or you could lose the battle and all of your troops on your first attack.
