How to Replace a Lost Destination on My G5 With OS X
When you install an application on a computer running OS X, the application is installed to a specific location in the computer's file system. If the application is improperly moved or relocated, you will prompted with an "Application Moved" error message when you attempt to launch the application from a shortcut. This error can be remedied by finding the application shortcut's new destination using the "Application Moved" error prompt window.

Locate the application shortcut on the computer's hard drive. Double-click the shortcut icon to attempt to launch the program.

Read the "Application Moved" error when it appears. This error states, "The application has been moved, and its path has changed. To update the product configuration, click Update." Click the "Update" button to begin the destination replacement process.

Type the computer's admin password in the space provided when prompted and click the "OK" button. This will allow the computer to locate the new application destination and replace the old destination.
