How to Unlock Orcladmin Utility 11G

Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g is a suite of applications developed by Oracle Corp. It allows corporate users to set up complex business applications that rely on databases. If an Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g superadmin, or orcladmin, tries to log in several times to one of the servers with the wrong password, the system automatically locks that account for security reasons. You can unlock that account and allow the orcladmin to try to log into the server again by using a specific command.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a Web browser and connect to your Manager Fusion Middleware Control Web interface. Log in to the interface with your regular Internet Directory password.

    • 2

Right-click on the project that is administered by the user whose account you want to unlock. You can find a list of projects in the left-hand pane.

    • 3

      Select "Execute command."

    • 4

Type the following command in the box:
      oidpasswd unlock_su_acct=TRUE
Click on "OK" to confirm the command.
