How to Troubleshoot FeedDemon
The RSS reader FeedDemon contains a SQLite database that, though reliable, can sometimes become corrupted. Plus, the program is incompatible with some features of the Internet Explorer 9 browser. If you encounter either of these problems, you can fix them without any third-party downloads.

Repair Database

Click "Start" and "Computer" to open Windows Explorer. Type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\FeedDemon\v1" into the search field and press "Enter."

Click "Open As" when the WinZip dialog pops up and extract the file's contents into the following folder: "%LOCALAPPDATA%\FeedDemon\".

Access Windows Explorer again and place the following URL into the search field: "%LOCALAPPDATA%\FeedDemon\". Press "Enter."

Locate the file "FDBREPAIR.BAT" and double-click it to begin the repair process. It will analyze the database and fix any errors it finds.

Launch Internet Explorer 9. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select "Internet options."

Expand the "Advanced" tab and click the check box next to "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" under Accelerated Graphics.

Click "OK" and exit Internet Explorer 9.
