How to Hook Up Your Xbox on an IOGear Switcher
The Xbox 360 uses a high definition multimedia interface connection for the best image quality, but many televisions have a limited number of HDMI input ports. If your television is short on connections, the cheapest way to add more is via an HDMI switcher. IOGear sells switchers with three and four input ports. These devices allow you to connect multiple HDMI devices to a single input port on your TV.

Plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI output port on the back of your Xbox 360. Plug the other end of the cable into one of the ports labeled "HDMI In" on the IOGear switcher.

Plug the second cable into the output port on the switcher. This port is simply labeled "HDMI." Plug the other end into the HDMI input on your TV.

Press the "Select" button on the front of the switcher until the LED under the desired port lights up.

Tips & Warnings
You can also use the remote control to switch ports. Press the numbered button that corresponds to the correct HDMI port. Cycle through the available ports using the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons.
