How to Make inDesign Hyperlinks for GoodReader
GoodReader is a free software application that allows you to read PDF documents on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. By using Adobe InDesign to create your GoodReader PDFs, you can embed hyperlinks within each document. When you tap the hyperlinked text within the GoodReader application, you are directed to a website for further reading.

Open the InDesign document to which you want to add a hyperlink. To do this, click “File” and “Open” from InDesign's top navigation menu. To create a new project, select “File” and “New.”

Locate the document text that you want to turn into a hyperlink. While holding down your left mouse button, drag your mouse cursor over the text to highlight it.

Click “Type” from the top navigation menu. Select “Hyperlinks & Cross References.” Click “New Hyperlink.”

Type into the “URL” box the exact Web address you want the text linked to -- for instance: http://www.yourwebsitename.com.

Click “OK.” Click “File” and “Save” to save the changes to your document.
